Start with the upcoming period
Review reservations, expected returns and due checks together. A busy day may contain both collections and maintenance, so allow practical preparation time rather than assuming a returned item is immediately ready.
Open the underlying record
Use calendar entries to reach the equipment or booking details. Confirm the customer, destination and readiness on the profile rather than relying on a short calendar label.
Keep plans up to date
Use booking date amendments when a hire changes and complete the return when equipment comes back. The register cannot know about a late return or changed destination until someone records it.
Know the boundary
This is a recorded activity calendar, not live GPS, a third-party calendar sync or a promise of automatic email reminders. Cross-timezone behaviour remains part of commercial-launch validation.
